Professor Yoshinori Hijikata
School of Business Administration, Kwansei Gakuin University (KGU)

This laboratory studies social informatics. Especially we work on user behavior and their psychological features in degital communication media such as social media and social VR platforms. We also study service design (UX design) to make the recommendation function, which is often used in digital marketing, more convenient to use.

Social media as represented by Twitter, Facebook and Instagram consists of various kinds of data like text, pictures, movies, likes, comments, and so on. These data can be seen as footprints of many people on social media. We will deeply analyze the relationship between these data to reveal new human behavioral characteristics in the digital society.
