IT Ideathon 2022 (2023.1.14)

SOC (Hijikata laboratory) held an ideathon with eight major IT companies including Recruit, Rakuten, CyberAgent, micware, istyle (@cosme), Yahoo! Japan, LivePark (NTV) and Hakuhodo. Each company gave us issues facing their real business. SOC students work on these issues and propose an idea solving them.

The second-year students of the Hijikata Laboratory participated in the project, and after about two months of work, the results were presented. The themes that each team worked on are as follows.

Team A: Miki Arimoto, Daichi Nagai and Rion Takao

Team B: Risa Amai, Yosuke Tokuyama and Ema Miyamoto
“Fashion shopping site with skeletal structure diagnosis function” (CyberAgent)
Team C: Sayaka Tatsumi, Yu Sugimoto and Sara Minato
“Exhibition events utilizing regional railways” (Hakuhodo)
Team D: Yukino Okuuchi, Arisa Miyauchi and Haruna Sumi
“Matching x map: Smartphone application to promote outings for idol otaku” (MicWare)
Team E: Suzu Itaya and Midoriko Tanabe
“Service to promote otaku activities for NHK morning dramas” (LIVEPARK / NTV)

The following people from four of the IT companies that cooperated with us attended as judges.

As a result of the judging, the following teams won the Excellence Award.

The other teams’ ideas were also very impressive and have the potential to lead to future services. Based on this experience, I hope that they will contribute to solving essential problems in society.
